Colgate Energy Lodging and Office Space

This unique project in Pecos, TX consists of a residential lodge with ten bedrooms and communal living space as well as a few thousand square feet of offices and work areas. The client needed a combination of unique spaces for a variety of purposes built on their empty sandlot. Throughout the planning and design phases, all their needs and intentions were taken into account. We handle everything from the foundation, framing, insulation, and roofing to the final finishing of both lodging and office interiors.

Apache Corporation Office Campus

A part of Hodges services includes construction management of external teams or specialists. For this 22,000 square foot office building and the adjacent main camp development, our duties included primarily oversight and handling of the entire project as a whole. Skills and experience in planning, design, construction, and finishing fuel the ability to make sure contractors and laborers fulfill all requirements to the highest degrees of excellence. Project management allows clients to maintain a high degree of trust and confidence that the entire construction process will stay on budget, on deadline, and never compromise on quality.

Expansion of a Texas Grocery Store

While building from the ground up is common for Hodges construction, the expansion and improvement of existing buildings like this grocery store also benefit from our unique skills and experience. This site required reinforced foundation and steel framing due to the environmental factors. For any new buildings or expansions, the construction is only as strong as the land that supports it. No investigative or testing steps are skipped that may compromise the quality of the finished project. Smart changes with longevity and efficiency in mind took place while the shop remained open for the community.

Ratliff Electric Office and Warehouse

Over 22,000 square feet of interior and exterior space was reimagined to serve the unique needs of this electric company. From initial rough sketches, Hodges transformed the six-acre lot to a well-designed facility with all necessary features for smooth operation of the company. This included everything from architectural layout to foundation pouring/finishing, full HVAC installation, paving, and all finishing work.

The Ratliff family also made use of Hodges Construction residential services to transform a three lot area next to their existing residence into a family 'barndominium' living space and west Texas oasis. Hodges’s team designed and planned with much input from the client and built that plan into a combination man cave, game room, pool house, and media room with second-story guest bedrooms. The site transformation of an empty sand and weed stricken piece of dirt into a 9,000+ square foot building is an excellent example of the type of creative inspiration that goes into practical work of building sturdy, efficient, and functional spaces.
